Zachary Barrett 

Owatonna, MN

My Name is Zachary Barrett and I will be attending South Dakota State next fall, majoring in Data Science and Mathematics. In high school I took part in numerous sports, such as soccer, basketball, and track. I was also heavily involved in music; I participated in choir, band, orchestra, pep band, pit orchestra, marching band, and winter drumline. I have had opportunities to hold a variety of leadership positions in those activities, as well as represent my school in Student Council and National Honor Society. Outside of school I enjoy being a part of my church youth group, working, volunteering, and hanging out with friends. 

Zachary received the Ghulam Mohammad Scholarship awarding $1,000 over a one-year period.
