Cosette Hendrickson

Fridley, Minnesota

This spring 2023 I am graduating from Fridley High School. Even though I have been a Tiger for almost my entire academic career (excluding 2 years in middle school when I was at an online school) I have worked the past two years at University of Northwestern-St.Paul and Bethel University getting dual credits through the PSEO program. My senior year of high school felt like my freshman year of college. I feel in love with the people, academics, and campus at Bethel. A scholarship to Bethel would help out my going to this amazing school. My plan for the next years of my life will begin at Bethel University. At Bethel I have decided to also continue my athletic career. Currently my plan is to graduate in 2-3 years. I am grateful that the credits I’ve earned from PSEO have set me up for success out of high school and on a track to graduate quicker. Academically I am pursuing a major in biology or biochemistry. My long term goal is to go on to medical school and even graduate school. I want to become an OBGYN medical professional and help advocate for women's health care awareness. Before I get there I am also pursuing a minor during my years in undergrad. I am minoring in biblical and theological studies. This minor has been a passion of mine since I was a kid and I am excited to pursue it at Bethel.

Cosette received the Hana Mohammad Scholarship awarding $4,000 over a two-year period.
